This stool is constructed from standard sections of reclaimed cherry wood, assembled using staples as the primary fixing method. The design emphasises material efficiency and repeatable construction, using simple slatted components to form a comfortable, flexible seat with minimal waste. Angular bracing reinforces the frame, achieving stability without traditional joinery. By using readily available materials and a fast, low-tech build process, the project challenges conventional furniture-making approaches and explores more resourceful, accessible methods of production.
